This guide will show you how to create, manage, and apply tags effectively in Cadasio.

Creating and Managing Tags in Cadasio

Tags are used to help organise projects and assets

Setting up tags in Cadasio is straightforward. To get started, navigate to the library drop-down menu on your dashboard and select ‘Tags’. You’ll notice that the tag management system is divided into two distinct sections:

  • Projects
  • Assets

Both sections function identically, allowing you to create, edit, and apply tags with ease.

To create a new tag, simply start typing the desired name and press Enter to finalise it. If you want to customise the tag’s appearance, click on the tag name to bring up a colour picker, where you can choose a suitable colour.

Applying Tags to Projects and Assets

Tagging Projects

  1. Select a project so that its details appear within the slide out on the right.
  2. Choose the required tag from the list.
  3. To add a new tag on the fly, type the tag name and press Enter — it will automatically be added to your library.
  4. If you need to tag multiple projects simultaneously, select the projects and click the tag icon in the bottom-right corner.

Tagging Assets

  1. Hover over the asset and select an existing tag or type a new one.
  2. Like projects, you can also select multiple assets and apply several tags at once for efficient organisation.

Using the Tags Filter for Quick Searches

Once your projects and assets are tagged, you can take advantage of the tag filter to quickly locate specific items. By applying a filter, Cadasio will display only the projects or assets associated with the selected tag, making it easier to find what you need without sifting through numerous files.

Streamline Your Workflow with Tags

Using tags effectively can significantly enhance your workflow by providing structure and making your content easier to manage. Whether you’re dealing with a large number of projects or organising numerous assets, tags are an invaluable tool for keeping everything in order.
